About Us

Welcome to our Charismatic Prayer Group.  We are glad that you could visit our website.

The prayer group was formed in 1982 originally with three couples only.  With the Grace of God, it had grown to a bigger group and had become the mother of several Charismatic Prayer Groups in the Boroughs of New York.  Year by year, we are still growing and not just in numbers, but spiritually as well.

The leaders of this group are continually experiencing the amazing love and mighty powers of our Lord.  In turn, we want to share this joy of experiencing Jesus with you.

We believe in the amazing Love of God,
We believe in the power of God’s word,
We believe that God still heals today,
We believe that God has entrusted to His children powerful gifts for the use in His ministries
......we believe our Lord wants you to have in Him the fullness of life!

Come join us in our Healing Mass every 1st Friday and Prayer Meeting every 3rd Friday of the month at 8:00pm in St. Rita Church. We pray the Holy Rosary to ask the intercession of our Mother Mary before each Healing Masses and Prayer Meetings.  We look forward to meeting you there.

VISION:

Our vision is to bring Jesus Christ and His teachings in the center of   all lives in each families through the empowerment and movement of the Holy Spirit; and to let all people develop a personal relationship with the Lord.  And to further promote the interests (which are inspired by the Holy Spirit) of our members in the community to the Church.

MISSION:

Basically, Our mission, as what Jesus Christ revealed in the Holy Bible, is to spread the "Good News" or "God's Words". There are so many ways to accomplish this mission. Some of these ways are, namely;

a) to conduct a Life in the Spirit Seminar annually;

b) to conduct bible study monthly;

c) to conduct spiritual teachings quarterly and

d) some regular activities that will bring the members of the community closer to one another and maybe able to hone the shortcomings of each individual through the development of each relationship to God and to one another. Such activities are:

d-1) Christmas Party December

d-2) Valentines Party February

d-3) Holy Week Recollection April

d-4) Marriage Enrichment Retreat June

d-5) Family Summer Picnic August

d-6) Weekend Retreat October

e) to conduct regular prayer meetings in order to praise, glorify, worship and give thanks to the Lord; and finally

f) to host a healing mass regularly for members and non-members who needs healing physically, emotionally, socially, mentally and spiritually.

Through these, we may be able to put our faith in actions and may be able to become the children of God and receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit gifts especially the promised gift of Jesus Christ which is the eternal life.
